NIGHT WITCH UPDATE:

I seriously need to thank everyone who picked up a copy of Codename: Night Witch (thank you!). Two years was an awful long time to make you wait, so I couldn't be more grateful to you for (remembering Sigrid) and for taking the time to grab a copy - and for reading it.

And, thanks to all of you, Night Witch is now the fastest selling TGfA book yet. It's been an insane opening two weeks. The launch has gone well beyond my hopes or expectations. Night Witch hit several of the top ten best seller lists across Amazon, not to mention hitting No. 1 on charts for "Hot New Releases" in SciFi/Dystopian.

And it's all because of you!

I'm especially grateful for those of you who posted reviews and ratings on Amazon and Goodreads. Those stars mean a whole hell of a lot to us Indie writers (they're pretty much our front line marketing tools).

So cheers to you! You're the absolute best.

  1. I found this series two or three days ago on kindle and ended up reading through the whole trilogy in two or three days.I love sigrid and suko's story as well as the other alcyone girls. I was suprised how much I liked victoria's character. Do you know if you will write another book in this series. I also loved how the way the "powers" they had and the science behind it wasn't overly complicated and easy to understand.

    1. Thanks, Garrusfan! I really liked Victoria too. I wish I'd had more time for her in the third book. Perhaps she'll play a larger role in the next? We'll have to see - that's also my way of saying, yes, I'm working on the next book right now. Can't wait. I'm still working out the plot and experimenting, but there's lots more in store for the girls.

    2. I also picked up the whole series a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to put it down. I'm now feeling a bit empty having just finished Codename Night Witch and I can't tell you how glad and excited I am to hear that there is more on the way. I now need to find a way of filling the gaping hole in the meantime.

    3. Dave, hearing that you're glad and excited just makes ME glad and excited! It's good fuel to keep me motivated (and working on these chapters).

  2. Much like the other fan up there I found this book series on the 15th of this month and was not able to pause. It has been a long time since I read a series that completely gripped me like that. As an avid fan of the genre that is saying something. Extremely talented writer and I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series (And hopefully many more to come!) Holding a cozy spot next to my very favorite series. Well done! Bravo! :)

  3. Congratulations, Cary. I bought it second I saw it was released, and while I still think it has some flaws, I enjoyed it very much. As the others said, it's my fovorite SF series.

  4. I have to say its been a while since I read a book as good as this trilogy and I read alot. I enjoyed this book alot and whould like to know an estermation of when the next book comes out. I know it can change so its a ballpark figure. Seriously I have almost one point five thousand books on my kindke and this trilolgy just rocketed up to the top 9-11 spots contending with Tolkien and other greats. Keep up the great work.
P.S in your next book please add some more space combat it whould be easy to have the girls run into a cte patrol or something so they have to fight there way out

    1. Hey, thanks, Matthew! So glad you enjoyed it. As for when the next book comes out, I've learned from past mistakes to never give an estimate of a release date, as I don't want to end up disappointing anyone. Books IV, V and VI are in the works though.

And thanks again for taking the time to come by and post. I really appreciate it!

  6. I haven't read any scifi in a LONG time (56 yr old granny here), but I found these books just after the new year and was intrigued. WOW!!! Talk about gobsmacked! I don't think I've had as much fun since reading "Brave New World", and some of the underlying issues were even the same. Well done. You CAN be smart and entertaining at the same time.

    1. Wow! Thank you SO much! My day has officially been made. I've been called many things, but "smart" is rarely one of them (unless it's followed by the word *ss). Cheers to you, BM!

PS: If there's any way I can get you to copy that awesome post and paste it in an Amazon review box I would...well, I would do something. I'll owe you a coke!

    1. Thanks again, Garrusfan. You're the best. I'm writing the next one now - kind of writing the next three. New characters. New places. New dangers. As usual, I'll never give a date, just that they'll be done when they're done.

      Cheers, Mate!

  9. I have a question about the first book. what happened to suko's brother raiku. that rebel leader (trying not to use spoilers)said he was missing. I figure he just ended up like the rest of them but when she said that it made me wonder. have a tendency to overthink things so it is probably obvious

    1. Ah, Riku! That question was actually answered in a scene from book two ... at least, it would have been answered if I hadn't cut the scene from the final draft. All I can say is that Suko's brother is alive. Dr. Farrington wasn't the only person to escape Scorpii in book one.

Riku, Nicola Kirk, Felix Rosa... there are a few missing characters lurking about that always threaten to make a return. Whether or not the characters will return alive, or dead, is the real question.
